About Us

Crete Township Fire Protection District (CTFPD) was established in 1954. CTFPD is located in northeastern Will County in the state of Illinois. Crete is located 30 miles south of Chicago, Illinois. Our district covers 30 square miles with just shy of 10,000 residents.

Crete Township Fire Protection District offers Emergency Medical Services, Fire Suppression, Hazardous Material Emergencies, Fire Inspections, Fire Investigations, CPR Classes quarterly.

ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS

Crete Township Fire Protection District is accepting applications for Paid-on-Call and Part-Time members. Applications are available on the Career tab of our website. Submit online, by email, mail or drop it off at any of our three stations.

CPR TRAINING – HEALTHCARE PROVIDER COURSE

If you are in need of a new or updated healthcare provider CPR card please contact FF/Medic Tim Piepenbrink at 708-672-3111 to schedule your spot. Classes are held at our fire station #41 on the corner of Bemes Rd and Stoney Island Ave.
